WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Head coach Barry Rymer announced Salem volleyball's 2026 schedule Friday.

The 2026 slate features 30 matches, including 12 home contests and three home tri-matches.

Salem opens the season at the 32nd Annual Cougar Classic, beginning with Roanoke College on Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. Salem returns to the court on Sept. 5 to face Averett University at 11 a.m. before wrapping up the tournament against Guilford College at 1 p.m.

Salem remains on the road with a trip to Charlotte to take on Johnson & Wales (N.C.) on Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. Salem then travels to Virginia for the Roanoke College Maroon Classic, where it will face St. Mary's College of Maryland on Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. before taking on Hollins University later that evening at 6 p.m. On Sept. 12, Salem concludes tournament play against Roanoke College at 11 a.m. and
Greensboro College at 5 p.m.

Salem continues its road swing with a conference matchup at Greensboro College on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m.

Salem returns to Bryant Hall for their home opener and the Salem Tri-Match on Sept. 19, hosting Pfeiffer University at noon before taking on Carolina University at 4 p.m. Salem then travels across town to face Guilford College on Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. before returning home to host Meredith College on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.

Salem hosts its second tri-match of the season on Sept. 26, facing NC Wesleyan at noon and Johnson & Wales (N.C.) at 4 p.m. Salem closes out September with a conference match at Brevard on Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.

October begins with the William Peace Tri-Match in Raleigh, where Salem will face Southern Virginia on Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. before taking on William Peace at 7 p.m. Salem then travels to Methodist on Oct. 7 for a 7 p.m. conference matchup.

Salem returns home to host Mary Baldwin on Oct. 12 at noon and Greensboro College on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. Salem then embarks on a three-match road trip, facing Pfeiffer on Oct. 17 at noon, Meredith on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m., and NC Wesleyan on Oct. 24 at noon.

Salem returns to Bryant Hall to host Brevard on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. before closing out the month with their final home tri-match on Oct. 31. Salem will face Southern Virginia at noon and William Peace at 4 p.m.

Salem concludes the regular season by hosting Methodist on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. before traveling to Lynchburg, Virginia, for a season-ending tri-match on Nov. 7 against the University of Lynchburg at 2 p.m. and Mary Baldwin University at 4 p.m.
