WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Salem College women's soccer has been recognized by United Soccer Coaches as one of 795 college soccer teams to earn the organization's Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

Led by head coach Robin Ramirez, Salem posted a team grade point average of 3.31, surpassing the 3.0 GPA requirement for the prestigious academic honor.

United Soccer Coaches announced the 2025-26 College Team Academic Award recipients on Friday, recognizing programs across the country for their exemplary performance in the classroom. A total of 795 teams, including 334 men's and 461 women's programs, earned the award. Of those institutions, 186 schools had both their men's and women's soccer programs recognized.

The recognition highlights Salem College women's soccer's continued commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom where they continue to prioritize academic achievement alongside their athletic pursuits.

The United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award recognizes college soccer programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year.
